Peppers Ranch

We have been approached by the Clubs in our Area (Edmond Clubs and the West OKC Club) and have been asked to join them in taking on a service project designed to support Peppers Ranch west of Guthrie.  Peppers Ranch is a new concept that involves the building of homes and a community designed to support the fostering and adoption of abused children under the control of the state through DHS.  The community is privately funded and is not a part of the state system, however, it works within the state's fostering and adoption rules and regs.  I recently visited and toured Peppers Ranch and feel that this is a worthwhile project for us, and the other clubs feel the same.  Representatives of Peppers Ranch will be making a presentation at one of our September meetings.  Again, stay tuned for further developments.  For more information about Peppers Ranch, please visit their website at www.peppersranch.com
